Volunteer With VANTAGE
Do you have a few hours to spare to help seniors in your community? VANTAGE has many opportunities for volunteering.
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, or RSVP, is the nation’s largest volunteer network for people 55 and older. As a program of Senior Corps, RSVP aims to provide older adults with opportunities to use their time, talents, and experience to make an impact with measurable outcomes.
If you are 55 years or older and live in Summit or Medina County, consider looking at our RSVP volunteer opportunities. You can reach the director at 330-253-4597 x166.
Meals on Wheels
VANTAGE’s Meals on Wheels program in Stark and Wayne Counties depends on volunteers. There are several ways you can help:
- Deliver meals to seniors
- Help in the kitchen or at volunteer sites
- Adopt-a-Route through your business or church congregation to deliver as a group

Be a Referral Source
Do you work with seniors who could use our services? Talk to us about being a referral source. We are always looking for agencies to partner with on referrals, which helps more people receive all of the services they need.
Sponsor or Advertise with Us
Do you want to get your organization in front of older adults? We see thousands of seniors across 38 Ohio counties, with a central focus in Northeast Ohio. This allows us to provide some great sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
Event Sponsorship
Event sponsorship puts your brand in the hands of seniors, their families, and caregivers. VANTAGE hosts several events throughout the year:
- RSVP Volunteer Recognition Luncheon – to recognize over 100 people in the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
- SOAR Awards – to celebrate people and organizations across Ohio who have a positive impact on the aging population.
- Senior Health & Services Fair – to distribute Ohio Senior Farmer’s Market coupons with an on-site farmer’s market.
- Put Hunger in Park – to raise money for Meals on Wheels with a food truck festival and activities.
- Seniors & SNAP Events – to provide information on senior SNAP food assistance in partnership with Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro’s Department of Job and Family Services.

Marketing and Advertising

Use Our Social Ventures
The need for senior services is larger than ever, and statistics reveal that this population will only continue to grow. People age 65 and older are expected to outnumber people under the age of 18 by 2035.
To keep up with the demand for resources that help seniors stay in their homes, we operate social ventures. A social venture is a business model that creates a sustainable flow of revenue into the nonprofit. All proceeds raised by the social venture are used to provide services to our community’s most vulnerable.

Employee Staffing Services
If you need employees, Encore Staffing Network could be the perfect solution. Encore works as a staffing agency that specializes in placing experienced older adults in positions that help the community and economy succeed.
Based out of Cleveland, our expert staffers can provide you with a roster of highly qualified and motivated candidates. Encore Staffing Network also provides full payroll and HR consulting services, reference checks, background checks, and drug screenings. We coordinate Worker’s Compensation, Medicare and Social Security taxes, and Unemployment Compensation. Reasonable fees are reinvested in VANTAGE’s mission to promote positive aging.
Professional Cleaning Services
Did you know that VANTAGE operates a fee-for-service cleaning company called Cleaners for a Cause? Cleaners for a Cause provides residential and commercial cleaning.
You can schedule regular visits from our professional staff and choose from a menu of cleaning services. Or, you can schedule a one-time deep cleaning for your home or business.
You are never locked into a contract and can change your services at any time. Cleaners for a Cause also addresses hoarding issues. Older adults with hoarding issues are referred to our Behavioral Health Solutions program to help them through the process.
