This week, the nation celebrates professionals who keep households and facilities running clean and efficient. Held every year during the second full week of September (12th-18th in 2021), International Housekeepers and Environmental Services Week is a week dedicated to recognizing the efforts of hard-working custodial staff members.
During the pandemic, we have seen these unsung heroes on the front lines keep facilities clean and safe for those who work, visit, and live there. This week recognizes their hard work, expertise, and dedication.
We encourage you to celebrate with us by recognizing someone you know in the industry. Whether it’s an award ceremony to honor your company’s staff or positing your appreciation on your personal and company social media channels, let’s come together to salute those working on the frontline to keep our world clean, sanitized, and safe.
Vantage’s Home Wellness Solutions program provides in-home supports for Northeast Ohio’s seniors. Small supports, such as home cleaning, personal care, and picking up prescriptions help many seniors stay independent in their own homes – where they want to be.
Vantage’s chore services are available to all levels of income through private pay, some insurances, and funding provided through grants, partners, and the generosity of the community. Thank you to partners Akron Community Foundation and Dominion for supporting this vital program.
