Free Home-delivered Meals for Veterans, Are You Eligible?

At Vantage, we thank those who have served and those who continue to serve in our nation’s armed forces. Here is some helpful information for veterans about meeting nutritional needs and free home-delivered meals for veterans.

Nutrition as we age

Nutrition is important at any age. But as we get older, our nutritional needs change. Getting the proper amount of nutrients isn’t always easy, especially if our health, transportation options, or other factors prevent us from going to the store and preparing healthy meals.

If you or a loved one has a hard time accessing healthy meals, one solution is a home meal delivery service. Home-delivered meals offer the nutrition you need without the hassle of preparing meals yourself. They also help improve vitality and quality of life and reduce the amount of time and money spent at the doctor’s office.

The nutritional value and convenience of a meal delivery service can make a big difference in improving your health and promoting independence.

As a veteran, you and your spouse may be eligible for free home-delivered meals. You deserve access to nutritious meals without having to worry about the cost. Your Veterans Services Commission can help you navigate your benefits, including free home-delivered meals for veterans.
