New leader to head senior services nonprofit beginning in March
AKRON (February 22, 2023) – Summit County’s leading senior services provider has selected its next CEO.
Kim Ventresca, who currently serves as chief operating officer for Red Oak Behavioral Health in Akron, will take over as head of VANTAGE Aging on March 13. She was chosen following a month-long search process led by Independence-based firm Ratliff & Taylor.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kim to VANTAGE Aging and look forward to supporting her in furthering the organization’s mission and goals,” VANTAGE Aging board President Rick Hawkins said. “Our search committee conducted a careful and thoughtful search for our next leader, and Kim quickly emerged as our clear and unanimous choice.”
Ventresca brings more than 20 years of experience working in the social services and nonprofit sector, including working with aging adults. Prior to joining Red Oak, she was the director of human resources and training for Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, which plans and administers state and federal aging programs for four counties.
She is a licensed independent social worker and holds a Master of Science degree in social administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in business administration from Baldwin Wallace University.
