Akron, OH (July 26, 2021) – Meals On Wheels of Northeast Ohio, a program of VANTAGE Aging, is hosting its first month-long Helping Hands raffle fundraiser this September to support the nutritional needs of seniors in Stark, Summit, Wayne, and Portage Counties. The Helping Hands Raffle is presented by Sysco and United Healthcare.
Meals On Wheels NEO hand makes and delivers meals with love and nutrition for seniors facing hunger. Community members and businesses can be a part of the Helping Hands campaign and help feed seniors by purchasing raffle tickets or sponsoring the event.
Raffle tickets will be for sale online at www.vantageaging.org/helpinghands or by contacting Meals On Wheels at 330-253-4597 or info@vantageaging.org. Tickets cost $10 for one ticket or $25 for three tickets.
Raffle prizes include:
- 20 Bottles of wine (worth over $600)
- Camping adventure basket (4 person tent, 4 folding chairs, 4 sleeping bags, camping utensils, cooler, s’mores kit)
- Family fun wagon (wagon filled with 2 outdoor games (checkers, frisby toss), 2 board games, ice cream maker, different tickets to family adventures)
- NEO Strong gift card tree (NEO businesses gift cards worth $300)
- Grill and a dozen steaks from Hartville Meats and Seafood
Raffle winners will be drawn each Thursday in September on Facebook Live at @VantageAging.
