Akron, OH (August 13, 2021) – Vantage Aging announces its headquarters have moved to 388 South Main Street Suite 325, Akron, Ohio 44311, located in the AES Building in downtown Akron.
“We have greatly enjoyed our years at the Romig Road Akron office and are looking forward to this new phase for the agency. Since 1975, Vantage has transformed, adjusted, and grown all in an effort to keep up with the ever-growing needs of our aging population. We are excited to invite the community to join us and enjoy the new, modern office space that will enable us to better serve seniors across the state of Ohio,” said Vantage CEO Ted Watko.
Over the past few years, Vantage Aging has grown substantially. The Northeast Ohio-based nonprofit merged with Meals On Wheels of Stark and Wayne Counties in 2019 to form Meals On Wheels of Northeast Ohio, which provides home-delivered and congregate meals to over 3,000 seniors in Stark, Summit, and Wayne Counties. Its AmeriCorps Seniors program also expanded into five additional Ohio counties in 2020, and it now connects volunteers age 55 and older with community-based organizations in a total of seven Ohio counties.
A grand opening and open house will be announced in the coming months. Vantage welcomes community members, partners, volunteers, and clients to experience the new office space and learn more about its mission to promote positive aging for all aging adults and their families.
