On April 4, 2023, AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps Seniors members are honored for all of the volunteer work they do through National Service Recognition Day. Nationwide, thousands of local leaders showed their appreciation by issuing official proclamations, participating in recognition events, and promoting recognition on social media.
Here at VANTAGE Aging, our AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Program is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), which leads the initiative for National Service Recognition Day. Volunteers dedicate their time and talents to solve community challenges and serve those around them. Their impact is an essential piece of our community, and we are so grateful to them. For all that our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers have done and continue to do, we say THANK YOU!
