Congratulations to VANTAGE Aging’s Youngest Volunteers!

Here at VANTAGE Aging, we are extremely grateful for all of our volunteers no matter if they volunteer through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) or Meals on Wheels.

There are a few people in particular we would like to recognize for their efforts volunteering with us. At the 2018 Senior Health and Services Fair, VANTAGE Aging was lucky to have help from two very excited young volunteers. One of our board members brought his two daughters to help at the event last year. They each worked very hard and were happy to be there to serve their community.

We were recently told that they earned awards for volunteering and good grades and wanted to offer our sincerest CONGRATULATIONS! The awards and recognition are well deserved! We hope to see you volunteering with us again soon.

This year, the Senior Health and Services Fair is on June 12, 2019. This event provides seniors with access to fresh food through the Senior Farmer’s Market Voucher Program with an on-site farmer’s market. The Program allows adults 60 and over to have access to freshly grown fruits and vegetables from local Ohio farms. This program gives seniors the chance to make healthy choices that promote independent and active lifestyles.

Sign up today to become a VANTAGE Volunteer! Encourage your children and grandchildren to volunteer in their communities – we are always looking for volunteers and would be happy to have the help.

If you are interested in becoming a VANTAGE Volunteer, please fill out the application through our website. For anyone age 55 or older, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program offers many great volunteer opportunities to become involved with and includes extra perks such as liability insurance and an annual recognition event.
