Vantage Aging has received an AmeriCorps Seniors grant from AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism. This funding will allow Vantage Aging and RSVP to continue connecting older adults with meaningful volunteer opportunities in Franklin, Delaware, Geauga, Wayne and Hamilton counties. Vantage Aging also continues to administer RSVP in Summit and Medina counties through previously awarded AmeriCorps Seniors funding. LEARN MORE

Meals on Wheels of Northeast Ohio recently received a $10,000 gift as part of an extraordinary $70 million unrestricted donation to Meals on Wheels of America from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. Aug. 4, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Kasich Hall Columbus, OH Senior Day also offers free admission to fairgoers over 60! Fairgoers visiting the Ohio Department of Aging's Healthy Aging Expo will have access to nearly 24,000 square feet of free health screenings, wellness demonstrations and lifestyle programs promoting independence. Programming is provided by state and community partners. |
